Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Chandrajit Suri Vani.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Chandrajit Suri Vani mobile or web application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is published by the organisation supporting Pujya Acharya Chandrajit Suri Maharaj Saheb ("we", "us"). Contact: gatewaytechnolab@gmail.com.

2. The service

The App provides:

A library of recorded video pravachans (sermons) from Acharyaji's official YouTube channel @acharyachandrajitsuri8943.
A live calendar of upcoming Chaturmas and other events, with optional add-to-calendar.
A private question-and-answer channel between you and Acharyaji's team.
Push notifications for new pravachans and replies to your questions (opt-in).

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
The information you provide (name, email/phone, language) must be accurate. You may update it from your Profile.
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and immediate (see our Privacy Policy).

4. Acceptable use of the Q&A channel

Questions you submit are private to you and Acharyaji's team. They are not shared with any other user. Every submission is automatically screened by a content-moderation service before being shown to Acharyaji's administrators. Submissions that contain hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise abusive content are rejected at submission time and not stored. We reserve the right to remove your account, without prior notice and without refund of any kind, if you submit content that:

Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination against any person or community.
Is sexually explicit, threatening, or harassing.
Impersonates another person.
Promotes illegal activity.
Attempts to disrupt the service through automation, spam, or abusive volume.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for the above. Acharyaji's administrators review accepted questions and aim to respond within 24 hours. To report a concern about content or behaviour, email gatewaytechnolab@gmail.com with the subject "Concern Report".

5. Content ownership

All pravachan videos, recorded teachings, photos of Acharyaji and other monks, and the App's branding are owned by or licensed to Acharyaji's organisation. You may stream and listen to this content for personal, non-commercial spiritual benefit only. Re-distribution, re-uploading, public broadcast, or commercial use is not permitted without written permission.

Questions you submit through the App remain yours, but you grant us the right to read, store, and respond to them as part of providing the service.

6. Notifications

Push notifications are opt-in. You can disable them at any time in your device settings or in the in-app Profile screen.

7. Third-party services

The App relies on Google Firebase (backend), YouTube (video hosting), Sentry (crash reporting, with PII collection disabled), OpenAI (automated content moderation of submitted questions), and Vercel (web hosting). Their respective terms and privacy policies apply when their services are used through the App. See our Privacy Policy § 5 for details and links to each provider's policy.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific pravachan or live event will be available at a given time. Spiritual content is offered for educational and devotional purposes; nothing in the App constitutes professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acharyaji's organisation, its volunteers, and its service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification. Continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
